Growing up I worked in my parent’s small town restaurant. My mom taught me to look everyone in the eye and the magic of delighting people. From my dad I learned the discipline of hard work in the organization of business. What a special opportunity. Moment Marked was created to give my family those same opportunities. It was created to help teach my children to work hard and create value for others.
I have a love / hate relationship with Marketing. It feels wrong to me that it is ok to manufacture a false sense of urgency in order to generate a sale. I wish companies would stop emailing me for the next 3 years if I leave an item in the shopping cart. Let’s not use people to solve business problems (as Seth Godin would say).
